Fabric Air Ducts in Medical Libraries

This project is a medical library located in Shandong province. The diameter of the Fabric Air Duct is 610mm (round), and the total length of the Air Duct is approximately 800 meters. The fabric air duct is made of Class B1 fiber material, and its color is gray.

All fabric air ducts in this project are internally supported, utilizing a 360° closed-ring skeleton as the supporting structure. By incorporating a support structure inside the duct, the overall strength and rigidity of the duct can be significantly enhanced, enabling it to withstand greater internal and external pressure differentials. Compared to traditional air ducts, which require thicker walls to meet similar strength requirements, the internally supported air duct can reduce material usage without compromising strength through the rational design of the support structure. This approach not only reduces costs but also decreases the weight of the duct. The design of the internal support structure optimizes the airflow path within the duct, minimizing turbulence and resistance, improving airflow efficiency, and reducing energy consumption. Internally supported ducts are easier to install, particularly in spaces with limited room or complex layouts.
