The Use of Composite Insulation Air Duct in Production Workshop

 

Factory workshops are characterized by pollutant-laden heat generation, tall spaces, and moderate heat loads. During the sweltering summer months, many enterprises struggle with achieving uniform cooling in high-temperature production environments. Traditional metal sheet air ducts used in these workshops often result in uneven temperatures, with some areas being excessively cold and others too warm. This can lead to physical discomfort among staff, thereby disrupting normal production schedules.

A Fabric Duct (or Bag Air Duct) is an air delivery and distribution system made from fiber materials that combines the functions of a static pressure box, insulation material, ventilation duct, air outlet, and air valve. It ensures uniform and gentle airflow to a specific supply area by utilizing fibers in gaps and various nozzle/air hole configurations. The displacement ventilation method offers advantages in terms of ventilation efficiency, indoor air quality, and energy savings. It also holds significant potential for energy conservation. After treating fresh air with heat and moisture, it is introduced directly into the indoor activity area. Fresh air then circulates downward via convective flow, forming the dominant indoor airflow.

Fabric duct outlets are positioned at the lower part of the workshop to expel contaminated air, adhering to the "top-to-bottom" air distribution pattern.
